MRWA Steward Orientation The MRWA Education Committee held a Steward Orientation in Cadillac on May 5. Participants learned what the Steward Program is and how they can become involved. At the end of the Orientation, Cindy Fitzwilliams-Heck, FSU professor, conducted a nature hike and identified different Michigan flora (picture below).
The MRWA Education Committee would like to extend the promotion of Watershed stewardship by attending meetings of lake and other water organizations and giving a small presentation. If you would like a presentation at your meeting, please contact the MRWA. |
